Off we go to our first lodging arrangement, a guesthouse on the outskirts of London.  You can definitely get away with staying far away from the center, as the public transport is super quick and efficient (and if you are coming from Vancouver, BC, it won't seem that expensive, either!).  We have saved a ton of moolah this way.  Stay tuned for more money-saving tips that can make London into a budget-friendly destination :)  P.S. For those of you as immature as I am, you may want to zoom in on the platform sign and see if anything on it makes you giggle.... Oh, and remember to "mind the gap".
